At a young age, Chef Louis was intrigued by his mother’s cooking. He remembers chopping carrots, onions and celery, not knowing he was creating a mirepoix for her. With the help of children cookbooks and his favorite show “The Frugal Gourmet with Jeff Smith” his love for cooking grew. As the years passed he began cooking for the family, and by the age of fifteen he was cooking holiday family dinners for 25 plus. He served in the Marines for 4 years before enrolling in culinary school and in 2005 began cooking in some of Los Angeles’ top establishments such as The Standard, Chateau Marmont, Hollywood Roosevelt, Dodgers Stadium Club, Luxe Hotel Rodeo Dr, and The Beverly Hilton. Chef Louis brings his A-list experience, leadership and creativity to SNP every day and translates it into stellar meals for kids.
