May’s here and that’s exciting for so many reasons:

May flowers (thank you April showers), Mother’s Day (keep reading for awesome gift giveaway info!), and of course drumroll please…our cookbook has officially been published and released.

We celebrated the launch of “A Chef Walks Into a Cafeteria…” last month by hosting a sensational group of bloggers, dietitians, media influencers, school administrators, and people who are doing amazing work in the fields of nutrition, gardening, and school lunch.

The guests were treated to lunch which featured our Alphabet Produce Train.

Guests toured our Bell Gardens central kitchen for an up-close look at how our Chicken Chow Mein is cooked from scratch for thousands of students.

We were lucky to have Stacey Sutter, Director of Fenton Avenue Charter School speak so graciously on how SNP, the work we do, and the food we provide, has impacted the Fenton school community.

Guests took home signed copies of our cookbook and a bag of our signature SNP “Holiday” granola. Buy the book here which has the recipe if you weren’t one of the lucky ones!

A lovely and delicious time was had by all and we want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of our cookbook launch.
